How to sync phone and read data from a Mac

1)  Turn the phone OFF

2)  Connect the cable to the Mac

3)  Connect the phone to the cable

4)  Turn the phone ON

5)  Start DataPilot

6)  Click on Communication --> Phone Settings --> Phone Setting/Editing.

7)  In the Phone Settings screen, click on the "ADD" button.

8)  Now click on Detect

9)  You will get a confirmation screen showing your connected phone make/model.

* If you get a message that your phone is not supported, try to update your software click here  or to view supported phones for Mac click here .

10)  Click on the "Add" button.

11)  Make sure your phone has a blue circle next to it, Click on Save Settings.

12)  Now you Click on Read

13)  Click Read Again

* If you get the error message: "Communication port can´t be opened"

Click here If have UC II(vx-ap1) + any other adapter

14) After the reading is completed you will see your phonebook, images, ringtones, etc.
