Can WAV files be converted into midi or any other acceptable ring tone file formats?
Note: DataPilot cannot convert WAV to any other format.
WAV: This PC sound format was developed ONLY for PC playing music. It cannot be used for anything else. One track of 1MB, 5 minutes can be 50MB and not suitable for cell phones. Polyphonic is simply - multiple tones as opposed to mono tone such as old Nokia
MIDI: Music format which is a set of "commands" or "keys" that identifies
instrument and notes. The sound itself should be stored somewhere,
therefore it takes less memory compared to WAV.
You may want to search on internet using keyword "Wav to MIDI
decoder" or converter - you may find shareware that may help you
convert WAV.
