SUSTEEN’S myDATAPILOT SUPPORTS OVER THE AIR (OTA) BACKUP OF CELLULAR PHONE DATA

(LAS VEGAS, NV, CTIA, Booth 4657) -- Susteen, Inc., a leader in data communications and mobile computing solutions, announces the availability of an Over The Air (OTA) version of DataPilot® for Brew-enabled handsets.

 Susteen’s market-leading DataPilot synchronization software now allows consumers to enjoy true wireless freedom via over the air transfer of cellular data.  Users can backup their mobile phone contacts and content from select Brew-enabled mobile phones to a secure myDataPilot server without the use of data cables. Once their personal data is backed up to Susteen’s myDataPilot web-based server, they can access and manage their data from any Internet-enabled computer in the world.  End users can also utilize myDataPilot to easily edit their data and then restore it back to the handset over the air.  A high-value feature of myDataPilot is the permanent backup copy of the users’ data, which can be easily restored to a new cellular phone if they lose, damage, or change their handset.

This over the air, server-based solution is immediately available for licensing and white-labeling to wireless carriers and mobile operators worldwide.  Susteen’s over the air, server-based data backup solution has been architected to provide carriers a robust and scaleable solution.  This solution will enable wireless carriers and mobile operators to leverage their investments in wireless data networks by increasing the consumption of data usage, generating higher revenues per consumer, and improving ARPU (average revenue per user).
