Start SMS Manager
“SMS (Short Message Service) Manager" is a tool that can read text messages from
your mobile phone and save them onto your computer. By utilizing the easy-to-use
interface, like any e-mail application, you can easily create and edit text
messages on your computer. Then, by connecting the data cable, you can send
messages from your mobile phone to other mobile phones.
Note: Not all phones support these features. For specific information on these features and many others features, know your manufacturer and model number and refer to the phone support chart.
Click on the DataPilot Icon to execute DataPilot software. Click the [SMS] button on Datapilot’s virtual phone to execute this feature.

Open
There is two ways to Open an existing image:
Click on the [Open] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: File> Open.
The Send SMS Message dialog box appear. Here you can read your message and you can also reply or forward the
message.

Add
There is two ways to Add a message:
Click on the [Add] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: File> Add New.
The Send SMS Message dialog box appear. Here you can write your message and then you can save it or send to your
phone.

Save
There is two ways to save a new message:
Click on the [Save] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: File> Save and Close.
The Saved Message will appear in the Outbox.

Read from the Mobile Phone
Imports existing mail from your mobile phone. The read data will be displayed in a new Inbox.
Verify that your settings are properly set. At the bottom right corner of the
SMS Window it displays the phone model that is currently set for (it also
displays whether your phone is connected).

There are two ways to read messages from your mobile phone:
Click on the [Read] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: Communication> Read.
The SMS Manager dialog box will appear.
Click on [OK]. Then read data will be integrated in your Inbox
window. The DataPilot SMS Manager generates a screen similar to the image
shown below.

Write to Mobile Phone
Imports existing mail from your mobile phone. The read data will be displayed
in a new Inbox.

There are several ways you can write data to your mobile phone.
When your Adding a New Message it give you the option to:
Click on the [Write] button on the Tool Bar.
When you Open a Message it gives you the option to Reply or Forward your Message.
Click on the [Reply] button on the Tool Bar.
Click on the [Forward] button on the Tool Bar.
Simply highlight a message in the Outbox and click the [Write] button.

[New] button
Creates a new message.
|

[Open] button
Opens a selected message.
|
|
[Delete] button
Deletes the selected message.
Note: The deleted message will be moved to the Deleted Items folder. If the message in the Deleted Items folder is deleted, it will be permanently deleted.

[Read] button
Reads all messages from mobile phone to computer.
|
|
[Write] button
Sends all message out via mobile phone.
|
|
[Back] button
Goes to the previous message.
|
|
[Next ] button
Goes to the next message.
|
|
[Save and Close] button
Saves message to “Outbox” and closes the “Send SMS Message” window.

[Reply] button
Replies to the selected message.
|
|
[Forward] button
Forwards the selected message.
