Write All
Click on the [Write All] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: Communication> Write All.

The Write All dialog box will appear
Click on [OK], and all of your data will start transferring to your mobile phone
Note: Once Write All is executed, all of the data that is currently stored in the mobile phone will be replaced with the new data. In addition, if the operation is canceled or a communication error occurs, the data will not be written properly. If the data transfer starts and there is no data to be written in the active list window, [Delete All] is executed. Some mobile phone will refresh themselves by restarting. This is perfectly normal. If the data in the active list window is not formatted for your mobile phone that is currently connected, the Data Conversion dialog box will appear and will prompt data conversion. After the conversion, make sure the data is correct and execute [Write All] again.
Selective Write
Selective Write was created for the specific purpose of writing part of the phonebook to the mobile phone (Not supported by all the phones).
This features will be a time Saver if your mobile phone holds 1000 entries and you have 50 contacts to transfer to your mobile phone. If you select the Write All function, it will replace each of the 1000 entries with the new data. Unlike Write All function, the Selective Write will only transfer the contacts you select and therefore it will only have to write 50 contacts rather than 1000 contacts.
The proper way to use the Selective Write:
Click on the Menu Bar: Communication> Read All.
Add or Edit the contacts of your phonebook. Select the contacts you created or edited.
Click on the Menu Bar: Communication> Selective Write. Once Selective Write is executed, only the data that you have selected will be stored in your mobile phone. In addition, if the operation is canceled or a communication error occurs, the data will not be written properly.
Note: DataPilot formats the data for each specific phone; if the phone does not support a type of data, it will place the information in red. Any information in red will not be transfer to the mobile phone.
