Start DataConnect
Dial up to the Internet on your PC or laptop with your mobile phone. The Internet Data Connectivity feature allows you to simply connect your mobile phone to your laptop and surf the Web using your mobile phone as a wireless modem. With Dialup, you can easily check your e-mail anytime and anywhere,while on the road. Dial up Internet access is based on cell phone model and provider.
Note: Not all phones support these features. For specific information on these features and many others features, find the name of the Manufacturer and Phone Model and refer the to the phone support chart.
Click on the DataPilot Icon to execute DataPilot software.

Click the [Dial up] button on the virtual phone.

At this point Data Connectivity Manager will try to detect your Mobile Modem, if it does not find a modem it will create a Susteen Modem.
NOTE: the application might take a couple of minutes to automatically detect your mobile phone and setup a modem.

If the Data Connectivity Manager installs a modem and you are running Windows 2000 or XP it will display a warning.
You may receive a 'Digital Signature Not Found' warning, like the window above, indicating that the drivers being installed do not contain a Microsoft Digital Signature.
You must click on the [Yes] or [Continue Anyway] button to continue installing the Susteen Mobile Modem so that you will be able to dial up properly. We have thoroughly tested all our drivers with all our cables and phone models.

The "Network Setting" Dialog Box appears. This help you set up a dial-up setting for you mobile phone base on provider. If it does not come up click on the Option [button] Network Settings in the Data Connectivity Manager.
Disclaimer: Dial-up could incur charges depending on the phone model, carrier service plan that you sign up and access number you are accessing. Please consult with your service carrier and confirm if there is possible rate charge.

High Speed Network: AT&T Data Service

Please note that this is different from Mode. Per download charges may incur depending on your subscription type contact your carrier for details.
Low speed Network: Unavailable.

Cingular Data Services:
High Speed Network: Wireless Internet Express
A high speed data service (GPRS service) from Cingular that requires a subscription (some rate plans include this automatically); however, a high rate of charge may incur if you connect without subscribing. Also per download charges may incur depending on your subscription type, contact your carrier for details.
Low speed Network: Wireless Internet
A standard speed Internet access for primarily TDMA network users. Per download charges may incur, contact Cingular for details.
Manual Edit: Wireless Internet Plan
Must have a subscription from Cingular. Allows you to enter the access number from your ISP, such as MSN or Earthlink (AOL/ NetZero/ Compuserve do not support feature). This may be restricted by phone model, location, or ISP providers. Per download charges may incur, contact Cingular for details.

A regular speed Internet access that uses standard airtime charges.
Express Network subcriber who use this network will incur separate charges for the use of their Quick2Net service, contact Verizon for details.

AOL Users:
High Speed Network: AOL access
Connect using your high speed connection through your carrier. Then you can:
Go to www.aol.com.
Or access the AOL environment by launching your AOL application and Lago on to your account as a local area network.
Low speed Network: Not Recommended
Slow connection is not practical with AOL environment, their environment requirements are to heavy to load up

Click the Finish [button] when ready.

For some carrier, for example, Verizon Express Network, the “Phone Number” dialog box will appear. You need to enter the mobile phone number to setup an account automatically. Enter your mobile phone number. Click [Enter].

The Internet Data Connectivity Dialog box window appears. The account information including “Connection Entries”, “Phone Number”, “User Name”, and “Password” will automatically show in the window depending on your selections on the Network Setting dialog box window. For Manual Edit, fill out your ISP information.

Click the Connect [button] when ready to connect. The Connection Status will let you know when you are connected. Once connected you can simply start Internet browser.
Tip: This option will automatically start Internet browser on a successful dialup connection.
Click on: [Option] button Setup.
On the Setup window, check the box that states "Open the Internet browser on connection".

Network Setting
Brings you back to the “Network Settings” dialog box to setup the carrier and network. It will take couple minutes to detect your mobile phone
System Information
Shows the information for the connected mobile phone
Setup
Provides some settings and easy access to modem.
Call Statistics
Shows statistics on the current connection.
History
Lists your call history by clicking the “Display”. You may export the history list to Microsoft Excel by clicking the “Export” option. If Microsoft Excel is not installed, the text file will be generated automatically. Delete all the call history by click the “Clear All”.

Brings you to the “Connect” screen. Open dialog box. DataPilot will ask to convert the file when you decide to Write All the data to your mobile phone.
