Start Calendar
Stay well organized with specific phone models that contain calendar functionality. Keep your schedules up to date on your mobile phone through our NEW Calendar support.
Note: Not all phones support these features. For specific information on these features and many others features, know your manufacturer and model number and refer to the phone support chart.
Click on the DataPilot Icon to execute DataPilot software. Click the [Calendar] button on Datapilot’s virtual phone to execute this feature.

Open
There is two ways to Open an existing calendar:
Click on the [Open] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: File> Open.
The standard File Open dialog box for Windows will appear.
Select the folder or file name, and then click on [Open].
The read data will be displayed in a new list window.

Add
There is three ways to Add an event:
Click on the [Add] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: File> Add New or double click on the date.
New dialog box will appear.
Set each category, then click on [OK].

Save
There is two ways to save a new calendar:
Click on the [Save] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: File> Save.
Save As dialog box will appear. Specify the destination. Name your file and then click on [OK].
Note: If has been saved before, it will over write the existing file on the disk.

Edit
Click on the event you want to change
Or select the Event and press 'Enter' Key on your keyboard.
The Edit window will appear. Simply edit the information and press OK [button] to accept changes.
Note: DataPilot formats the data for each specific phone; if the phone does not support a type of data, it will place the information in red. Any information in red will not be transfer to the mobile phone.

Read from the Mobile Phone
Imports an existing calendar from your mobile phone. The read data will be displayed in a new list window.
Verify that your settings are properly set. At the bottom right corner of the
calendar it displays the phone model that is currently set for (it also
displays whether your phone is connected).
The image at the right was taken after setting the communication settings on the
Menu Bar: Communication > communication settings.

There are two ways to read messages from your mobile phone:
Click on the [Read] button on the Tool Bar or click on the Menu Bar: Communication> Read.
The Calendar dialog box will appear.
Click on [OK]. Then read data will be integrated in the current window.
The DataPilot Calendar generates a screen similar to the image shown below.
Note: DataPilot formats the data for each specific phone; if the phone does not support a type of data, it will place the information in red. Any information in red will not be transfer to the mobile phone.

Write to Mobile Phone
After you have entered or imported your Calendar information, you are ready to write it back to your mobile phone.
Verify that your settings are properly set. At the bottom right corner of the

Import Calendar
MS Outlook:
On the Menu Bar, click: File> Import from Outlook
The ‘Import Outlook Planner’ dialog box for appear.
Date Range of Schedule Data to Import:
Select the specific date that you want to start the importing the information from.
Select the period of time that you want to import.
Optional selection: Check what information you want Datapilot calendar to import.
When ready click on [OK].

Then read data will be integrated in the current window.

Export Calendar
Exports the current to Microsoft Outlook 97, 98 or 2000
On the Menu Bar, click: File> Export from Outlook
The ‘Export Outlook Calendar’ dialog box for appear.
Date Range of Schedule Data to Export:
Select the specific date that you want to start the exporting the information.
Select the period of time that you want to export.
When ready click on [OK].
Then read data will be integrated into Outlook calendar.

Toolbar

[New] button
Creates a new calendar.
|
|
[Open] button
Opens a selected calendar.
|
|
[Save] button
Saves files to your computer. It saves the data in the active list window over the existing file on the disk.
However, if the data is new and has not been saved, it will perform a [Save As.]

[Add] button
Adds new data to the active date.
“New” dialog box will appear.
Set each category, then click on [OK].
|

[Delete] button
Deletes the selected calendar.
|
|
[Read] button
Reads schedule data from mobile phone to computer.
|
|
[Write] button
Writes schedule data back to mobile phone.
