3rd Party Cables
We recommend using the cables sold on our web site because our software has been tested to work with these cables. If you already own a cable we cannot guarantee that our software will work and it may impair or damage your mobile phone.
When you use a third party cable, first thing you must do is to install the driver for the cable correctly. This is where the first problem rises as far as our technical support goes. Since we do not have and do not use the cable, we simply do not have information on how the cable should be installed or how it should appear in device manager. In case of any problem, there is no way for us to troubleshoot it. You will need help from cable supplier on this issue.
Our software is specifically tested with our own cable and packaged to give you the best quality. Please note that there are variety of cable out there and some are only capable of supporting only the phonebook or only dial-up, but not both. I would suggest you to try our cables on line, which we can fully support and should it have any problem you will have no problem receiving a refunded.
Note: Please note that we do state DataPilot Software has ONLY been tested to work with the cables on our web site.
